Bonnie and Clyde met in Texas in January of 1930. At the time, Bonnie was 19 and married to another imprisoned murderer, and Clyde was 21 and unmarried. When Clyde was arrested for burglary locked up in jail, Bonnie helped him escape by smuggling in a gun to him, but he was recaptured and sent to prison. Clyde got out in February of 1932 and was put on parole. He rejoined with Bonnie so they could presume their crime fighting lives together. The couple were believed to commit about 13 murders, several robberies, and several burglaries. Before all of the crimes that the couple made together, Clyde had been suspected for murders, kidnapping, and robberies not just in Texas, but in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Louisiana. He even stole and ambulance in Victoria, Texas. Clyde had a very serious issue with hurting/abducting officers of the law including a sheriff and chief of police in Wellington, Texas.
